How to reach…

Sabanci University building at Karakoy

It is 20-25 minutes walking distance from the hotel. You can take a taxi or the tram in Findikli direction and get off at Karakoy stop.

Street map of Karakoy stop

The greenish blue area is the see. The tram will cross Galata Koprusu (Galata Bridge) and stop at Karakoy Caddesi (Karakoy street). Red building in the street map is the meeting place (The building is actually dark gray :-). Tell the people at the door that you came for the meeting and they will direct you to the second floor where the planery session will take place.

If you decide to walk, then follow the tram lines down to Eminonu, and then to Karakoy across the Galata Bridge.

Hotel

The hotel address is : “Sogukcesme Street, Sultanahmet, Istanbul”.
You may use the metro & tram connection: First take the metro from the airport (there is only one line/direction :) get off at Zeytinburnu stop, and take the tram (there is only one tram line :) in the direction of Eminonu. Get off at the Sultanahmet stop which is about 150 meters away from the hotel. You may ask someone to show you Ayasofya. Hotel is right behind Ayasofya (This will cost less than 2 Euros).

Or you may easily take a taxi at a rate of 20 EURO to reach the hotel (all of the taxi drivers at the airport should know the hotel).
You may take the airlines bus to reach to Aksaray and take a taxi or the tram to come to the hotel. (should cost around 10 Euros/person)
